Go Out

Go out in Dallas with Davi

1.) How long have you been in your city? When did you first visit your city?

I have been in Dallas since I was 11 years old, I moved from Chicago when my mom re-married and have been in Dallas ever since. I never have visited Dallas before, my mom came home one day and said “pack your bags”. Me moving there was my FIRST time ever being in Dallas

2.) Where should people stay and visit?

Definitely depends on the vibe you want, definitely would recommend staying in the gayborhood that way you don’t need a vehicle and can walk to most of the gay bars/clubs. The Warwick Melrose hotel is definitely and good spot! It’s walking distance from the strip, and it’s a very chic hotel, nice rooms too! So when you get drunk from the clubs you can just stumble on to your hotel

3.) Give us a tour of your gayborhood?

Let’s start with the famous Station 4 or S4. I’m not huge on the history of how long it’s been around, but I have been going to S4 since I was 18 and it’s been around longer than that. JRs bar is more of an older crowd depending on the day, and they have a great Sunday funday. Round-Up bar is country music, country vibes, all kinds of boys. If you want sexy underwear there’s a store called Skivves where you can purchase them from. Out of the closet is a cool trending thrift store and also provides HIV testing.

4.) Where do gentlemen go for brunch? Where do gentlemen go?

Brunch? Well …. that depends what you’re hungry for. Most go to Gloria’s which is mostly Mexican food but the menu changes for brunch. And those mimosas ? Can’t get enough.

Cool for the summer.

5.) What’s a hidden gem?

I think the fashion scene here is a hidden gem … most don’t think of Dallas of being stylish and trendy like NYC and Los Angeles. Being a stylist blogger there’s a lot of events that actually go on.

6.) What’s your favorite restaurant in the city?

I love Happiest Hour it’s a bar and restaurant! They have an amazing salmon AND tuna salad and you can get drinks there also! There’s a rooftop you can hang with your friends and it’s a good dating spot if you don’t want to be super, super fancy.

7.) What’s your perfect day in Dallas?

Spending time with my friends, drinking wine on a rooftop no worries or cares.

oooo yas boo !!!
